HISTORICAL SIMULATION

Mirror of Ages

Live through the Sengoku era as an individual officer. A simulation about people, houses and the generations that follow.

Design & technical prototypes

One person, within a larger world.

From an unaffiliated officer to a retainer, castle lord or daimyo: the goal is a connected life of duties, personal ambitions, politics and warfare within the same world.

News takes time to arrive.

World events and a character’s knowledge are separate. The travel time of orders and reports, and the outcomes of movement and delegation, are intended to shape decisions.

People and houses across generations.

The design allows continuation through an eligible successor after a character’s death. The first intended release targets a nationwide scenario beginning in 1560.

Where it stands

Currently, individual technical prototypes.

Movement, messengers, changed orders, save/restore, an outline map of Japan and regional routes are being tested. Historical data, roads and systems are incomplete; no public playable demo is available.

Release date to be announced
